Harry Winston’s master jewelers have impeccably set the bezel and horns with a series of exceptional diamonds.
The Opus 1 series consisted of three limited editions of six pieces each, all unique. All featured exceptional movements made by F.P. Journe.
F.P. Journe created in 2001 the final six Opus 1 models to be powered by the world’s first automatic movement outfitted with a five-day power reserve – this normal-sized caliber (30.5 mm in diameter and 5.7 mm high) achieved it with just one spring barrel.
The first model, the Opus One 5 Day Automatic, featured an F.P. Journe 5 day automatic chronometer movement with free-sprung balance, four adjusting weights, in-line lever escapement, and a 15-tooth escape wheel.
Adjusted to five positions. Exclusive power reserve system precision chronometer.
The second model, the Opus One Resonance Chronometer, had two time zones and used an altered version of François-Paul Journe’s resonance chronometer.
Last but not least was the Opus One Tourbillon with Journe's one-minute tourbillon movement with constant-force remontoir.
